As i am attempting to rebrand the logo for "The hospice of the good shepherd" for the entyce design competition 2012. i am focusing in doing a type based design so i am concentrarion go typeographers for design insperation, i have been looking at a few different designers and some sorces claim them to be "The best".

Ari Weinkle

This Piece fo design is called "Is back, is year" and Ari created this piece using a blend of vectored image creation and traditional collage techniques. if find this piece very interesting, i find the colours to be bold and stand out, rather eye catching in my opinion.

This is alother piece by Ari Weinkle named "sunlit" he writes about this piece on his website and this is what he said "Sunlit is an attempted visualization of many of the elements of the film noir genre. The type is meant to visually juxtapose with the rest of the forms." i think he has sucsessfuly juxtaposed the work with the other forms in this piece, i really like the monochrome toutch to the work it makes you look deeper into the image to imagane what at would be like in colour.

  1. Your artists research needs to be far more indepth than this. You need to eveidence primary contact with an artist to enable you to identify the skills and techniques used within a piece of work. You should be able to critically evauluate more examples as you become familiar with the processes.
